House Hunters is a Sham!

Sometimes I miss the memo when it comes to the juicy news. But I finally got it from a local radio show today and the news is this... HGTV has been playing fast and loose with the "reality" in their shows and I have found out that "House Hunters" and "Designed to Sell" are pretty much shams. "House Hunters" is supposed to be about the "hunt" for a home and the process that people go through to make choices for a house.   Well, forget that!   The show is staged!    The couple already has bought the house and the other homes are often their old home, a friend's house, and another house.   To get on that show the couple already has to be under contract for a home! On "Designed to Sell" - a now discontinued show thanks to the economy, the show is also pretty much make believe.   Wonder if any HGTV show is more than a dog and pony show?   Read more here.
