A laptop, some empty fireworks and a jar of Vaseline landed three friends of Boston Marathon bomb suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in jail Wednesday, charged with trying to throw investigators off their buddy's trail.

Those are the items federal prosecutors say Azamat Tazhayakov, Dias Kadyrbayev and Robel Phillipos took from Tsarnaev's dorm room at the University of Massachusetts- Dartmouth in the hours after the FBI released photos of Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan, the suspects in the marathon bombings.

According to FBI affidavits, they quickly recognized their friend from the pictures.

According to sources close to the on-going investigation in Boston, the friends were actually amazed that these two brothers, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan could be the perpetrators of the Boston Marathon bombing.

"I had no idea that Dzhokhar had a night job," said Azamat.   "By day he was selling joints and bags of weed like he was a pot Walmart.   He didn't seem very ambitious and was constantly munching on stuff.   Who knew he had time to train to be a bomb-maker.   Hell, he had a hard enough time passing classes and was always trying to get me to write his term papers."

A friend of Tamerlan who was not killed by him before he converted to Islam noted that "My friend Robel and Azamat had a chance to see the pictures that everyone else did and we thought we recognized Dzhokhar.   We knew the other guy couldn't have been Tamerlan because he was a gym rat who cussed at everyone and he had no time to do anything other than to adjust himself and to punch other boxers."

The FBI made a sweeping investigation this past weekend as they captured all three friends during a circle jerk watching the Muslim equivalent version of Fratpad called "IED Hotel" that featured guys dressed up as sheiks banging girls covered in bedspreads.

The investigation by the FBI included seeing the three with their pants fastened cleaning up the younger bomber brother's room and removing Playboys and fireworks and other "incriminating" evidence.

"We didn't want our friend to be considered to be impure so we threw out his 20 boxes of Playboys and his bikini briefs and his cum rag.    Along the way we just decided to clean up the rest of the room and disposed of several empty pressure cooker boxes and opened up fireworks," noted Dias.
