Semi final night - final four acts. First song is picked by the fans.   Second song is some gimmick duet format that is obviously a trap and setup to get two performers into the finals.    Instead of pairing the groups together, the groups were paired with a solo artist effectively making the groups background singers to the solo artist.   This was so disengenuous. Drum Roll - Here's My Take on This Week Alex & Sierra And now for the duo that has no talent - they are pitchy and shrieky and not to mention watching them is vomit inducing with the sugary, goo goo eyes they make at each other.   The chick is twiggy ugly - like Cher with 100 pounds removed from her body.   The guy is a metrosexual wimp - he's practically a chick.   Who knows - he may be a dyke with facial hair.   They are the poster children of everything wrong with our youth - recipients of participation prizes and possessing no talent. OMG - they are starting off awful - the worst I've ever heard them - my ears and eyes are bleeding - if they have concerts in the future they should give out barf bags - this is awful.  They are making Carlito the Mediocre look like the winner tonight.   They've never sounded worse.   The judges were lapping this shit up - and they were shit - it was awful - what is going on here?   I'm sensing the judges are pushing these clowns on so they can go against a weak Carlito and win the competition.   Anyone with ears can hear the shrieks and off notes in every performance of these two.    First round rank - dead, dead, dead last. Duet competition is paired with a sucky singer - Carlito. Omg - this is painful to listen to.   Carlito can't sing and Alex and Shit are off tune.   She's is shrieking - this is horrible - one of the worst performances EVER.   There was no winner here.   It was awful. Pitchy and bitchy up next with their third song - egads - he sounds like a chick - high pitch - pitchy omg - he went so flat there - she's just bad - tried for a high note and really didn't do well - he could be her and she could be him - like a matched set of piles of dog shit - I think he's trying to be the lead in Maroon 5 - he's really not that good - she hit one note - he's missed about five - they needed a huge performance and they delivered dreadful. Carlito Olivero The one advantage he has had is that he has been consistently mediocre so his level of expectation is .. well .. mediocre.    And when he does better than that, this seems like a miracle.   That fact that he didn't suck and changed his pandering from illegal aliens to chicks could cause a change in the finals.   This guy did well enough to be taken seriously on his first song - which has been done by the lesbian Justin Bieber.    This guy is a dark horse.   He still can't sing, but for the first time on stage he showed he could perform.   First round rank - third. Duet competition is paired with a sucky duo - Alex and Sierra He's not doing well - but the duo is doing shitty.   He sounds like a car starter.   Awful.   He couldn't even rise above the pitchy noise of the dynamic double dog shit duo. Third song - really weak vocals - he went back down to his level of mediocrity then he pandered to the illegal aliens with his latin singing - absolutely revolting.    This was weak and predictable - you can frost a dog pile but you'll still have a dog pile.   This is so borderline that he just took himself out of the finals unless all the illegal aliens vote for him.    This is a case of gimmick over substance.  Oh, please - "I've been fighting" is getting old -you've been awful all competition and except for one song, you have been awful tonight. Jeff Gutt Tonight the also rans are showing up and making this a contest.   Jeff can be good, but he has never sounded better and is the clear winner tonight.   How will this mix things up?   Are there enough voters to see past the latin gimmick that is Carlito and the piece of shit duo that is Alex and Sierra.   Based on the singing, Jeff won the night on the first song.   Just like in the NFL during the playoffs, the hot team in the playoffs wins it all - it doesn't matter much how you did in the regular season.   Jeff might have just made it into the finals on that.   First round rank - first.... Duet competition is paired with a Restless Road - Rock v. Country.  Predictable.   Essentially trying to be the original artist.  Very raspy and oversung.   X-Factor essentially turned RR into Jeff's backup singers - disgusting set up.   He won by default - given the parts that showed his voice and rendering RR to second. This guy is not original - he's trying to be other artists - there is nothing genuine in his performances - he's a fake rocker.   His style masks a weak vocal range.   He's good enough and better than Carlito.  His third performance boots Carlito.   He's living a fantasy and is what he is.   He's not great, but he's a 1980's performer stuck in time. Restless Road Great job with this song after a stumble at the beginning.   Pissy judges tonight were taking their stabs at the guys trying to sabotage their confidence.   This was really cheap because the performance was great - demi was a complete cunt - her comments were uncalled for and catty and dishonest.    She needs to be fired from the show.  The Spanish chick was obviously trying to lower RR so her fraud could be better by comparison.   Here is the issue - this group has always been far better than most and the clown, Carlito, rises from the sewer to the sidewalk and he instantly looks great.   The guys have a night far better than Carlito has ever had and now they look like they are in second place.   I honestly want to cut Demi for her pathetic and catty comments - and we need to be reminded that all of her acts are gone - she is being petty and bitchy.     First round rank - second. Duet competition is paired with a Jeff - Rock v. Country.  Nice harmony and change up - definitely not a cover.   X-Factor gave RR the shaft - set these guys up into backup singers.   Considering how they were set up to fail, they held their own - given the parts that were essentially backup singer parts and the soloist given the juicy parts.   The top two were in this round despite the obvious set up. Third song - pre-interview made them sound like hicks.   Nice job, X-Factor.   The song rocked and they nailed it - great vocals all around - they just put themselves in contention.   Congratulations!   This could have been their best performance ever!  Standing ovation from the judges.   Even Demi the cunt liked it. Overall Analysis Alex and Sierra have sucked all night - off key - pitchy - rancid.   Last song was pitchy and just as awful as ever. The surprise was Carlito who sucked less than he has and suffers from the George W. Bush level of expectation - anytime he doesn't choke on a word sounds like a victory.   He cost himself a finals spot with that third song.  Jeff - rock songs have been given to him in an obvious softball setup to get him into the finals.   The first song was one he performed during his first audition last year so everyone knows he can do it and he did - then RR was set up as his backup singer - this was so obvious that I hope the voters see the deception and boot Jeff from the finals. Restless Road - first 5 seconds of first song they were off - they recovered and nailed the performance - they were very good in the second series but were setup to finish second.   They are back in the finals with a huge performance. Top three acts - Jeff, Restless Road, and the Dogpile duo.    Carlito had to have three great performances and he delivered one.    Adios muchacho!
