While I know nothing about his opponent and don't reside anywhere near NC, I know Clay Aiken is no more qualified to be sent to DC than my roommate (who are housecats). We don't need ivy league congressmen/women, but we also don't need Gopher from Love Boat or the second place guy from AI.It's a little nice to have one more gay voice there, but it should be a gay voice with a bbit more experience in public service than I am aware he has.
