It was obvious yesterday that in between jokes and levity, our President could not have cared less about the entire Ukrainian plane crash - shoot down - and he changed none of his events calendar to spend any more than 16 seconds to state that this "maybe a tragedy". And with the Netherlands and other countries grieving for their lost members, the President said his number one priority was to find out about the Americans lost. Well, in other events like this, other Presidents didn't reduce the situation to just an American one (I thought we weren't exceptional!) - we grieved and wanted justice for all - and when September 11th, 2011 came around, we had other countries become "American" for that moment without thinking about their own nationals who were murdered.
And just in case you dare to care about the one American who apparently and maybe suffered a tragedy, you can read about him by clicking here. Don't be afraid - spend the 16 seconds our President spent on this subject. Then you can move on and have your mea culpa tomorrow just like he did today.
And just remember this is supposedly the brightest man to ever be President and the greatest orator we've ever witnessed (read a teleprompter).
