Gay Artist Playlist
Hits Fifty Songs!

Of all aspects of this blog, nothing means more to me than finding amazing gay artists and to promote their works through this blog.

You may not ever agree with my viewpoints that I post here, but you must agree that these gay singers are head and shoulders above most of the so-called mainstream acts that get recording contracts these days.

I started my hunt for gay performers to fill one month of saturdays for my Music Video Weekend feature and really didn't know what gay artists there were out there other than Elton John and Melissa Etheridge.    I was amazed, upon the start of my search, how many awesome performers that there were - and suddenly my one month of gay singers on Saturdays has now turned into a constant and never ending feature that has supplanted the straight acts I was posting.

Today I added my 50th gay performer song - this one features a video that has Troye Sivan just prior to him making it big with his trilogy video series and his worldwide album debut last week (December 4th).   He is singing back up with a non-gay singer, Zedd, in the leading video offering (though it is only an audio clip) on my Gay Artist Playlist.

Those who've played this list above or viewed my Music Video Feature that debuts each Saturday morning at 1:30 a.m. eastern know that I feature videos regardless of the language.   I'm smitten by a couple of the French acts, Cassandre and Emmanuel Moire.   I also like a cross section of music tastes and love the understatedness of Matt Alber who just seems to know how to nail any performance he undertakes.

I hope you enjoy and give this video playlist a bit of your attention - and - most importantly BUY THESE ARTISTS' songs!

Footnote:  You won't find Sam Smith on my video list - I only post talented gay singers - not the flavor of the month picked by an industry that can't pick straight talent with any degree of taste.
