Final season of American Idol has a potential diamond in the rough here. Lee Jean is not just a stereotypical wannabee rapper. He has real singing talent. This video shows his roughness in practice, but when it came to perform, he nailed it. This kid has real talent. He's also so cute. It is so refreshing that a young black male doesn't fall into the trap that being real doesn't mean you have to rape good taste. I am personally rooting for him. He is growing. He is actually listening to feedback and the others on the show need to watch out. He could sneak up like Carrie Underwood did as others shot themselves and she continued to improve. He's not there yet, but he is demonstrating a quality that could make him a star.
