Question from the Mail Room on Counter

Some snide ass know it all questioned why my blog's hit counter was reset a few weeks ago.

I am now responding to that inquiry because I have a few extra minutes to devote to those who think they know shit, when they really know jack shit.

The answer is quite simple - I don't use the counter that Blogger uses.   The way I have this blog configured, I don't want a counter stuck on the side column, I want it up top.  So I use a third party counter which tends to under report hits - it is conservative.   Not knowing this ahead of time, I was curious as to what Blogger was showing as visitor hits and I noticed how under reporting the third party counter was.  

So, to you, know-it-all, I simply reset the visible counter to the stats that were on blogger and nothing more.   And I'll do this again and again when there is a big enough discrepancy.    So, unlike King Pimple of a Man who invented a new way to count unemployment to under report the statistics so he'd look better at doing his job than he really is, I merely publicly reset my under reporting counter to the blogger one which was on my blog a year or so ago.    Nothing more here, twat.    So, if you thought you had me, you don't.   As usual, the truth will set you free and you are free to go fock yourself.

And I was also not ignoring you - I was actually prompted to check comments that hadn't been posted and I saw your dingleberry hanging there when I was looking for an intelligent comment that had been posted.    And because you are a dingleberry, you get to be put front and center as the dingleberry you are.
