I'm sick of this whole situation with the gorilla being killed because some careless parent allowed their brat to scale a three foot fence and then fall fifteen feet into the moat where a gorilla found a new playmate.
It is fully understood by those who know how tranquilizers work on large mammals that the gorilla could have gone postal (oddly without a firearm or uniform) and taken the brat that found his way into the gorilla's patio and done nasty things to him - almost like a Hollywood casting agent would do with a young boy.
Of course the brat's mother can't be held liable (or won't be) because everyone now loses control of their reproductive accidents and shouldn't be held accountable for keeping an eye on their brats. We all know it takes a village to raise a child and somehow the village wasn't looking out for the brat either - possibly they were too busy at a Hillary Rodham for President rally.
So how do we protect our innocent animals who are illegally detained in zoos and circuses from outrageous exploitation by humans?
Do we kill them because a stupid young human primate violates the personal space of a 420 pound gorilla?
Do we deny the gorilla his basic miranda rights?
Do we forgo due process rights that we would give to an arrested murderer?
Where is the mercy and consideration that we could impose on a Gorilla for a supposedly stupid human primate who is guaranteed to grow up into a big idiot who likely will drive under the influence and kill one of your relatives?
I would offer that the only just thing we could have done was to put down the human primate - all four years of him - and then allow the gorilla to do whatever he wanted to do with him.
I say we should have put a bullet in the head of the brat - splayed that young skull full of mush wide open like a Jiffy Pop Popcorn cooked over a stove blossoming in fleshy mush. Consider this a post natal abortion. Do it the way of the left. Heck, call it a Mooslim religious celebration where the head is removed in a new fashion instead of severed by a butter knife!
Society would be better off - a child who at four was not controllable by his mother - we would have protected the innocent gorilla who was of good and beefy stock and who recently attended a "Gorilla's lives matter" event where the man should never use unjustified force upon a primate such as him. And since the brat was of pink skin, we must anticipate he'll grow up to be a racist and whose white privilege will go onto to rape women and to exploit all races not like him.
The mother can always get knocked up and create a wonderful replacement that will likely one day reinact his dead brother's climb into history.
But the gorilla should never have been harmed. And when the life was taken from the near headless brat, maybe the gorilla would have showed us his true intentions with his new playmate. And there wouldn't be a head to bash and the brat wouldn't drown.
