I know it is popular to jump on the bandwagon
of the self-righteous who seek to perpetuate
myths and their supposed rightful spot as perpetual victims, but I offer the following
points of appreciating all life and ending the
game of playing the victim for profit.
of the self-righteous who seek to perpetuate
myths and their supposed rightful spot as perpetual victims, but I offer the following
points of appreciating all life and ending the
game of playing the victim for profit.
- Demand the highest level of conduct within yourself before you point fingers at others.
- If you think you are experiencing racism, then are you truly living your life free from tagging your or your offspring with overt racist cues that separate you or your family from integrating with society at large?
- Just because you experience events that you think are due to racism, that does not mean you are in fact being victimized because of racism; being hypersensitive to criticism does not mean you are being singled out because of your race. Everyone is criticized. Don't suddenly jump to conclusions that you being challenged at work or at school or elsewhere is due to the pigment of your skin; you could in fact being acting like an ass.
- Just because someone of your race was killed by the police does not mean you are in danger from the police; you should stop to realize that the police kill people of every race and that does not mean they are seeking to fill our their diversity kill card; it just means stupid people do stupid things that put themselves at risk for being killed. If more people acted like they had commonsense and just listened to police commands at the time of the particular event, there would be fewer people killed by police.
- When will you realize that declaring war on the police will not result in fewer of your kind being killed?
- When you demand that your young men stop killing each other and start hitting the books to make something of themselves, perhaps you'll have fewer of their kind killing each other. Hope of real achievement has a great way of motivating young people to excel.
- Just because you wear an athletic supporter and wear $300 tennis shoes does not make you NBA or NFL material. If everyone went around wearing a suit and thinking they are going to be President it would look just as silly. Education is the great equalizer. A jump shot or a slam dunk is not.
- Don't demand others to walk in your shoes when you refuse to walk in theirs.
- Diversity means nothing if you point fingers at other people.
- Tolerance means nothing if you tell people to not express their opinion and then call them hateful. You don't get to own the podium for free speech.
- When you appreciate the best in people, suddenly you don't see things. You appreciate thoughts and differences.
- Demanding your way is a guarantee that you'll never get it.
