While the leftists want to blame guns, the fact remains that outside of mooslim-based attacks upon America, mass shootings have a common denominator:  mental illness.

While mass shootings are not new to America having been around since the 1800's (which leftists can't fathom because it is a fact), these shootings have become celebrated through up to the minute mass media coverage.

And since these killings always provide the left the very excuse they want to deny us the rights of gun ownership that are guaranteed to us in the second amendment, these shootings are often politicized without ever considering the facts of the situation.

It is a fact that not one gun has ever left out of its case and killed anyone.    People are always involved to pull the trigger.

Yet, queerly, the left is never even going to understand that these killings are based on sick people who have clearly sent prior warnings that people around them have dismissed; and in this recent case in Florida, the very FBI that has spent considerable time fabricating political cases against the current administration over fake dossiers, has simply not done its job to protect Americans from those who are broadcasting their intentions if anyone at the FBI or local police agencies were to pay any attention.

In this Florida situation the signals were so clear and obvious and broadcast with such regularity that it is laughable for the local Sheriff to whine and opine that we need more gun control - the fact is the police failed to do their job having gone to the killer's house no less than 39 times.   And despite numerous reports to the FBI by concerned citizens, nothing was done.

And living right in that community with numerous indicators going off the charts, no one dared to seek to provide this young man with any mental health resources.    Friends, classmates, and the school did jack to afford this obviously afflicted young man with any resource that might have stopped him from going off and killing 17 people.

Ordinarily I don't give a rat's ass about the perpetrator, but this situation shows that no one did their job with this - but those very same lazy ass motherfuckers are now blaming guns.

What we had here is an obvious flaw in the American system - we have the mentally ill that are allowed to be like free range chickens and allowed to persist in society when they pose a danger to themselves and to others.

What America needs is to shift resources from supporting broodmares and their broods who take no personal responsibility for their poor reproductive decisions and to shift those dollars to providing mental health counseling to the infirm; and when it is necessary, we should  impose limited protective custody to the mentally ill so that they can be diagnosed and cared for in a compassionate way - not in a warehousing of the mentally infirm.     We should understand that sane people just don't pick up a firearm and desire to commit mass murder.    The momentarily insane that snap out of character often are in domestic violence situations where the deathput is limited.   We can't begin to solve those irrational momentary decisions.

But what we can do is to take identified and known situations of a persistent mental instability  and to provide those people with free resources to help them through their situations.   Hopefully some of those cases of instability are able to be managed in outpatient care over the long term; but we must be prepared to take people off the street with clear threats to others.    And while my Libertarian nature would resist seizures by the state (because I don't trust them), we must understand that a persistent history of irrationality should trigger professional care for the mentally ill - and the citizens must be prepared to provide this care at no cost - and if that means illegal aliens don't get jack other than to deport them, we should put our compassion on our citizens and away from people who have no right to be here.

There is blood on the hands of people here and it is all of those who ignored the signs that this man had needs for care.   Those who did nothing should be held to account.    And of course we should send this young man to prison for life without parole.
