Suddenly it is okay to force others to pay for your life outcome.
We are all born into different scenarios. We are born with a family history that makes us more or less likely to contract certain diseases. We are born into poverty or into wealth. We are born to eternally wear athletic wear or to succeed in life using our brains.
Yet, somehow we feel that when life strikes us with a health issue, that we suddenly should not be responsible for the cost of our own upkeep. And then we should be banned from telling the sick how to live their lives in a healthy way.
I am sick of this shit. Where do you get off shifting the cost of your upkeep onto me or to my family or to my next door neighbor because you have a sickness that makes you now a "pre-existing condition poster child"?
I am in firm belief that if you have a significant health issue that you bear the entire cost of your upkeep. Spend your income and equity and savings to take care of your issues.
But don't look to anyone else to make your situation comfortable or to take stress off you.
You see, you didn't bother to listen to any of us to stop using drugs, to stop drinking, or to stop ruining your life with pathetic personal decisions.
And what makes you think that because your genes have a inclination to give you boob cancer over someone else and that we should make your life whole when you were born defective to begin with? Did you as an adult heed the warnings of your ancestors that died of cancer to start wising up and to live your life as clean as possible.
If you didn't, go fuck yourself.
I firmly believe if you have a pre-existing condition that you should bear the entire cost of your care and that you should be forced into selling all your worldly goods to cover your ass. What good is shafting the rest of us for your care when you die with assets that could have covered your care!
And yes, I want you penniless at your death before you start begging for me to give you a dime.
It is time to shift the burden of pre-existing care back onto the sick where it belongs. You are driving up our insurance rates and you are driving up the cost of our taxes and healthcare.
Oh, boo hoo. You didn't listen to any of us when we advocated preventive care or eating well or not to use drugs, cigarettes, or booze.
