The Democrat "solution" is no solution at all.

Trump's wall would be a speed bump if not employing additional forces and a zero tolerance toward invasion.

So why not turn our open border into a mile-wide mine field that has a barbed wire fence on both sides of the zone and then to let nature do our selection of the smartest who would get across and the lazy, the idiots, and the near-anchor-baby producers left to pay the ultimate price?

And let's make this a pay per view event where those who are into the morbid get to pay for our border protection?

I mean this in all due disrespect toward illegal aliens.   I feel nothing for  your plight.   If your hardship is so bad, change your own country's issues.

But don't shift that to the citizens of the United States to coddle you just because you set foot on our territory and have a sob story to tell after the fact.

I think a lethal barrier would act as a wonderful deterrent:

-  You can't tunnel under it.   No one is going to tunnel a mile to avoid this.   It just is not possible.
-  Yes, many mines will be exploded, but the stench and sight of the dead bodies would add to the deterrent value.    And no, we wouldn't clean up the mess.  Let the animals have a wonderful buffet.
-  You'd need less manpower and technology to patrol this.    Once these pieces of shit set foot on American soil, they are immediately in for a lethal experience.   Even if the first waves take out the first few feet of the minefield, then there will be over 5000 feet to traverse.
-  Offer no medical aide or care.   Anyone injured who doesn't die immediately gets what they paid for.   And if we really want to give mercy, let's fly a drone over them and shoot them to death.  
-  We can no longer do as the Democrats want; Trump's plan is a start, but we must ultimately enforce our border.

And yes, let's reform our legal immigration policy; speed it up; select only the best and brightest and only allow those into our country that matches our needs.   If we need tomato pickers, then select only those who could be the best tomato pickers.   If we need yard people, then only allow those in.   But we cannot be compelled to allow the pregnant, the five year old, or the 80 year old because they have sob stories.    These people have a life in their own country.  Let them do as all people have done - uprise and revolt - or die for what they want.
