It is so understandable that today's uneducated white youth and the miscreant black followers of Black Lives Matter would fall for the disinformation about toppling statues.
Try as I might, I cannot find a single human historic genocide or crime that can be undone by toppling a statue.
You can erase the history of such crimes and then start down the path of committing more heinous ones. The uneducated and the lazy are so easily swayed.
The statue of this General which was toppled a week or so ago was an insult to anyone with half a brain. This General was instrumental in being the general who saved the union of the United States and who sent the Confederacy, an institution loved by Democrats for over a century until their relationship to it became an inconvenient truth, packing and into submission.
Assaulting any statue of men like this should result in capital punishment - since roping the destruction forces would seem to close to lynching blacks, I implore statute destroyers to have both hands chopped off; and the ring leaders should then have their heads chopped off.
I can assure those who think toppling statues as a cute and powerful thing will rue the day they are sent to their maker when they pick the one that is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Touch Lincoln and you will die. Touch other founding fathers and you will most certainly become worm food. You assholes must pay a dear price. And we'll bury your black flag with your body parts.
