American Idol - Top 8 Show

Back by popular demand ... UV does American Idol.... Theme: The 80's (In a show which is quickly becoming a parade of zombies moaning widely) DeAndre started things off - horrible - nasty looking hair - I feel like showering after he performs. Nasty looking and even worse as a singer. He could sell a dozen records to the deaf. He is benefiting from young chicks being fooled into thinking he has a peen. Next up - Elise - sounded like a jersey shore whore on a street corner - flat - nasally - absolutely awful - if she were singing for her dinner she'd get the maggots in the trash can. She wasn't projecting her voice - she was screaming. Phillip Phillips - I am so fond of him - really underwhelming performance - didn't like this performance at all. He better hope more people suck tonight.... Joshua - Poor cover - shreiking - egads - horrific. There haven't been screams by victims of this intensity in any of the 200 Halloween movies. A very cheap cover of someone who he thinks he sounds like. Jessica - well, if you can't be original, impersonate a dead crack hoe. This was pure karaoke - nothing more than a very cheap impersonation - nothing original - and with JayHo flapping her gums, you know this performance was truly mediocre. Whitney Houston must be rolling over in her bathtub. Hollie - dressed like some cheap 1920's hooker - awful hair pulled back showing more forehead than Dr Phil. She had moments of good notes interrupted by the rest of the performance. Flat notes. Yelling isn't very becoming to a floozie. If she had any more pitch issues, she'd be a tree. She was so bad that the three judges, including Jay Ho couldn't cover her performance with enough cat litter. Colton - nasal - teenage mutant zombie - boring. Skylar - oh joy - she always delivers that nasally sound - this skank is singing my late BF's favorite song - she's toast -her dress looks like theater curtains - and the performance is really mediocre - underwhelming - then it went over dramatic - this song deserved better - but trailer trash was singing it. The judges on American Idol are trying to justify their seats - they are being disingenuous to the performers, employing different standards, and aren't offering substantial feedback. They are over rating performers - this show misses Simon delivering the reality check that many need. There is no improvement in these singers from start to now.
