American Idol - Top Seven

It's Wednesday and that means its "American Idol" time...

Last week we got rid of the cokerspaniel so hopefully we can clear out another piece of driftwood.

This week's theme:   Music from 2010 - present.

We'll start off with the smirky smurf, Skylar.   Pathetic twangy witch.   God is this song wretched.   This is a caricature of a country performance - more twang than an Alabama incest party.   She is screaming it - not singing it.   I keep waiting for two cousins to drop out of her dress - traded in the theater curtains from last week for ones from the kitchen of the mobile home.   I love country music.   This was horrible.   Judges continued to kiss her huge ass.   It is obvious they want this troll through to the finals.

After the commercial break, we have Colton.  I'm hoping he does well.  He hasn't been that good lately.   The pre-performance talk with Jimmy Douchebag had him compared to Phillip Phillips.   Colton has a long way to go before he'll be that good.   We'll see here... He actually sounds good tonight!   Wow!   This is his kind of song.  Want to hear more!   Beautiful song.   Wonderful passion.   He rose to the occasion.

Jessica Sanchez is up next.   Whitney Houston has had no hits in the 2010 - present music environment so she can't do a blantant ripoff of her music like she has done twice now.   Sounded better than last week.   More original.    There is a pattern - this is the up week after crapola by the truckload last week.   So far everyone except Hillybilly Hag has sounded better.

Joshua is going to sing Bruno Mars.   This could require wearing hearing protection.  Very weak performance.   Sounded like a Broadway audition.   Very phony.   Nothing but a gimmick performance.   The ending was a disaster.

Hollie is up next - usually she goes from a teenager to a 40 something alcoholic look during the previews to the live performance - tonight she comes out like a two bit hussie from some cheap bar - nearly street walker look - and her performance was flat and dull - then she gets off the stool and the outfit looks like donald duck with sprinkles - performance speeds up a bit, but the look is laughable.   Ending was pretty good actually.

Phillip is up next.   Hope this performance is better than last week....   Well, this is not very good.   He's really plateauing while others are rising.   He is no longer breakout good.    Songs like this with their pitchy efforts are going to sink him.   Should be a bottom three performance.

Elise is going to do Lady Gag Gag - oh joy - this is going to be a train wreck - omg - one of the worst "American Idol" performances ever.

Bottom three predictions:   Joshua, Hollie, and Elise.    The only thing that will save Phillip is the pubescent chicks who want him now.   I predict Elise will be sent home.
