Sometimes you have to step up and do the right thing.

Even if it means helping ... Lesbians.

And step up I did.

Back in January, an Oregon baker, a Mr. Klein - ironically living on the left coast of America in the land of all things leftist and politically correct - denied a lesbian couple their shot at a beautiful wedding cake for their upcoming in your face ceremony.

And the baker turned out to be a very religious man who doesn't believe in same-sex marriage.   Klein, who reportedly owns the bakery with his wife Melissa, told NBC he was simply living in accordance with his religious beliefs by rejecting the lesbian couple's request. Furthermore, he believes his decision to deny the couple service is protected by his Constitutional right to practice his religion as he sees fit.

Constitutional rights are those rights, for those who don't know, that are spelled out in real words in those inconvenient first ten amendments that so often get in the way of liberal agenda.

It should be noted that apparently this couple did not do a google search on "gay-friendly" bakeries as I did.   I found some that even - gasp - cater to ... lesbians!    Life is so much easier when you use your brain instead of seeking to pick a fight.

But I stepped up - as I always do - and offered to bake these two robustly sized hunks of feminity the cake of their dreams and even managed to swing a sponsorship deal with the official car of Lesbians, Subaru, to foot the bill of the honeymoon at a resort and gas station of their choice.   The cake that I baked these two lovely women is pictured above in all of its glory.   No one will accuse me of baking a cake two quarts low.
