What appears to be coincidental is really insidious coordination by the Left to infect our nation beyond repair   I was seriously going to go politics free today on my blog.    Even a political junkie like myself has had his fill of what is going on, but the Left never takes a break from infecting unsuspecting folks with propaganda and there was a striking display of this with NBC Nightly News this evening. The newscast was the typical leftist spin of the news but didn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary.   In the previews there was one interesting "story" that was going to cover a remarkable achievement in education - where Americans were actually rising out of the shitter of today's National Educational Association cesspool of dumbing down our students. I should have know better. This was not an article about achievement.   It was part of what ended up being a carefully coordinated snow job about - COMMON CORE.   The coordination was brazen.   Before the story on "Common Core" was a commercial for it paid for by GE - an insidious bankroller of the Democrat National Committee and a company that has benefited from so much preferential treatment by the President and his party with contracts, that you'd think that there couldn't be more to this - but GE is one of the largest corporations in the world and they also paid no income taxes in the last few years.   And not one whimper from the left.    So when GE bankrolls a commercial for something that isn't about GE products, that is striking - and GE was promoting "Common Core" in this commercial. "Common Core" is one of the most insidious aspects of indoctrination of the leftist ideology ever conceived.   It seeks to remove any local control of education and seeks to standardize the indoctrination of our children.   As a Libertarian, I find Common Core repulsive and another expansion of the indoctrination of the vast and over reaching Central Planning of the Federal Government to breed out any opposition to the huge expansion of this insidious Federal machine that is being created.     So, with the stage set and GE's commercial promoting "Common Core", this would have been odd in and of itself - further proof of how in bed GE is with the Democrats and the Progressives.   But when the next event happened, my total attention was focused toward the screen. And my jaw dropped. Supposedly this article was on the amazing performance of the students and how well they were doing. But the article was really about "Common Core" and the children selected were either Mooslim or non-Caucasians.    There might have been a Caucasian somewhere in the background, but I couldn't find one.   The overt use of the children of a selected diversity was staggering - but the message was really about a sugar-coated and pro "Common Core" propaganda piece.   The piece really only covered one aspect of "Common Core" - math - and this was quite humorous since much of what I've read about this is that you are not required to have the correct answer in solving math problems in "Common Core" - it is about creating great self esteem - that our idiot children will feel so good about being as stupid as a dog pile!   And so the piece was a syrupy propaganda piece that was a virtual free advertisement and snow job on the actual extent of testing and total loss of local control over education and how a centralized teaching agenda full of Progressive ideology is forced upon localities. As if this "free" commercial for "Common Core" was not enough, right afterwards - immediately afterwards - was a commercial by the NEA - the National Education Association - the far left labor union of teachers - was promoting ..... "Common Core!" I can't make this shit up - this leftist infestation of our nation is getting so shameless that they are not even trying to hide it - right in your face is what they are doing. More Audacious Blathering From Obama Well, King Constipation is now saying he'll negotiate even while he spent the first week of the Shut down by saying he wouldn't negotiate.    His standard line has been "A Clean CR" and I'll veto everything.   The Democrat controlled Senate has either shelved every piece of CR the House has sent it or ignored the legislation all together - all the time denying a vote on the legislation - but at the same time telling the House that they should vote on a straight up clean CR without holding Obama accountable for Obamascare that has so many issues from politically motivated exclusions to the Executive Branch (Obama) picking which part of the law HE WANTS TO ENACT and ignoring the whole law elsewhere - with delays for implementation which are never delegated to him or even in the actual legislation - and the legislation gives him NO POWER to pick and choose what to enact! “I’m happy to have negotiations but we can’t do it with a gun held to the head of the American people,” Obama told reporters on Friday, as he took a casual stroll for sandwiches with the Vice President. In the President’s view, Republicans, of course, are the ones holding the guns (Time Magazine, dated 10/7/2013). Now he says he'll negotiate but always adds conditions which always says that the "House can't have 100% of what it wants" but ignores that the President's position necessarily means he only wants 100% of what he wants and then says he wants to negotiate!   The nerve of this bastard!    He only wants his way as a dictator and will not entertain improvements on his own legislation - well, there is a reason - he doesn't care if Obamacare works as he sold it - he wants to destroy the health insurance industry so he can enact a single payer system that is supported by punishing the achievers and to cover the leaches of the society.     He is operationally telling us he won't entertain ANY changes in the law now even though there are obvious issues and he says Congress got a special exemption but he is behind that exemption himself!    The nerve!
