I've never seen this
show before and I was bored out of my mind - so I endured an
hour of it and found it to be everything I thought it was and
less.
The format is
just plain stupid. It is too cute for its own
good and is boring as hell. It is all gimmick
and nothing more.
The Judges
Aside from Adam
Levine, there is not a shred of talent in the
judging. As a matter of fact, I loathe two of
the judges to the core - for different reasons.
Fat Ass Cee Lo
Green.
A former thug and
a man with no positive characteristics makes it big because he
sings in the least competitive and talent-drive genre of music -
rap crap noise. This guy is pathetically obese and
shows no real musical talent. His background includes
assault and robbery and this makes him reprehensible - and I'm
not into the turning one's life around when you sing music that
is as evil a genre as there is - hate and violence proliferating
through it. He now just robs people of their money.
Blake Shelton
No apparent
talent and way overrated as a singer. He has only
one song that I can remember and someone else could sing it a
hell of a lot better. I don't see what he brings to
this show other than arrogance.
Christina Aguilera
Pathetic Earl
Scheib's blond dye job, this washed up, has been, never was
singer joins the long list of overrated, digitally enhanced
sound makers that end up on talent shows. She is
pretentious and unattractive - looks like Morticia Adams that
feel into a vat of bleach. She is haggard and
unremarkable - like some puppet you would buy in a store.
Totally without any class.
Adam Levine
The only talent
on the stage - he can sing without having to have post
production - he is talented beyond even his knowledge and he is
genuine. And was dressed like a real person and not
in some cheap red vinyl outfit from the Jetson's Big and Large
clothier (Cee Lo).
The Format
Apparently the
show is all about the judges and not about the
singers. This was totally a turn off - the judges
turn their backs to the singers and then turns around when they
sense talent. In the episode I watched, Witch
Christina turned around for a singer with no talent. I
rest my case on her.
I really don't
understand the appeal of this show - it isn't about talent - it
is all about gimmick. Cheap red and in your face
colors. Tacky and awful. This could be perhaps
one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
Blake Shelton,
Fat Ass, and Blonde Witch ruin this show. They are
simply awful.
Contestants?
There isn't any
point. This show is not about the
talent. It is about four voices and personalities
and nothing more. |
